Biography
Samira Abdul-Karim, MA: Samira has over 10 years of experience in learning and development, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), facilitation and coaching. Samira’s expertise is in designing learning interventions for adult learners that maximize accessibility and effectiveness.
Samira works at the intersection of learning and technology by spearheading virtual and online learning experiences that prioritize human connection and interconnectivity. Samira’s educational training in Anthropology and Organizational Psychology inform her cultural contextualized view of systems thinking.
In addition to building and implementing learning programs, Samira consults with organizations to generate and execute DEI strategies that create more equitable institutions and support the underrepresented and marginalized individuals within them.
Samira holds a Masters degree in Social Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and Bachelors degree in Anthropology from Wesleyan University.
